The Naples Players

The Naples Players is dedicated to providing high-quality arts access to every member of our community – including those with additional needs. This National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, we want to bring awareness to our Arts Access programs, and the opportunities for inclusion they create within our community. Every week, our Arts Access team reach hundreds of students with developmental disabilities, offering a mixture of improv and musical theater classes. Designed and taught by professional therapists and teachers, our inclusive classes are tailored to individuals to ensure proper accommodations, enjoyable classes, and meaningful exercises. After years of taking our inclusive improv class, Rocco decided to try his hand at operating the spots for last summer’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and loved it. This is just one beautiful story of many coming out of our Arts Access program.
