During the 2024 NAPFA - National Association of Personal Financial Advisors Fall National Conference, the NAPFA Foundation had the honor of having former pro bono client Kirstie Ennis introduce its sponsored breakout session "Operation Financial Freedom: Planning Tips for Veteran Clients" hosted by Stacy Miller, CFP?, MBA. In Kirstie's speech, she remarked on her experience growing up in a military family, serving as a marine, and entering civilian life as a veteran. Her story explores the power NAPFA members have in making the lives of their clients easier by helping them secure their financial freedom and achieve their highest potential. She is an incredibly inspiring figure and a wonderful friend to the NAPFA Foundation and its community. Ready to hear some good news? During last week’s NAPFA Fall 2024 National Conference, Ryan Insurance Strategy Consultants, a Gallagher Company agreed to match all donations made throughout the week dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. Last week, we received contributions from 44 donors, of whom 43% were first-time donors. And our total amount raised in just a few short days? $10,201.30! That means with the match dollar NAPFA - National Association of Personal Financial Advisors members have raised $20,201.30 for the NAPFA Foundation in one week! This is a new record-setting amount for the NAPFA Foundation and we could not be more appreciative of the support from the NAPFA community for helping us fund critical financial planning services to our audiences. We of course cannot thank Ryan Insurance Strategy Consultants enough for their significant impact. Thank you.

I got to meet lots of new friends at a Meet the Speakers Dinner hosted by Equita Financial Network, Impact Communications, Inc. - Marketing & PR, and Box Insurance Agency like Derrick Kinney and Emily Jaffe, CFP?, CDFA?. ? I got to have lunch with my former work bestie, Sarah Zink. ? I got to visit with my fellow Military Financial Advisors Association planner, Daniel M. Kopp, MA, MS, CFP?, MQFP? and my new IPS guru friend from XYPN Live, Philip Mock, CFA, CFP? at the closing party.
