The Board of Supervisors today proclaimed September as Workforce Development Month in Napa County, a time to reflect upon the contributions of our nation's workforce and the role that workforce development plays in supporting workers and growing our economy. Locally, Napa County is home to a dynamic workforce whose collective spirit, passion, and board professional expertise contribute invaluably to the essence and economy of the Napa Valley.
In collaboration with the Workforce Alliance of the North Bay and Career Point Napa, Napa County Health and Human Services is now home to the new American Job Center of California location in Napa where residents can access a wealth of employment and job training assistance. This Thursday, September 12 from 11 am - 2 pm, there will be a grand opening job fair at the new location (2751 Napa Valley Corporate Drive in Napa, Building A).
