Yet hospices rely heavily on the generosity of their local communities to provide their care, with Gifts in wills alone paying for almost 6,000 hospice nurses per year. The pillars have been incredibly valuable in helping me identify new ways we can support Naomi House beyond just fundraising—though that will always be our priority. They’ve encouraged me to take a more holistic approach, considering other meaningful contributions we can make. As a tech company, we’ve been able to provide consultancy and cost-saving reviews for things like licensing. But our support goes beyond that—we’ve also helped with gardening and are organizing a dedicated day to make calls on Naomi House’s behalf. The variety of ways we can get involved means every employee, regardless of their skills or circumstances, can find a meaningful way to contribute.
