Last week, we had the privilege of testing our new two-port L-band antenna at Sherpa 6, Inc.’s Spring Lake, NC facility. This evaluation supported an ongoing effort led by the Sherpa team, and we’re excited about the results so far! “The L-Band MIMO antenna significantly improved video feed quality and delivered a notable increase in RSS (Received Signal Strength), ensuring robust communication throughout the test.” #SmallDesignsBigPerformance

Successful Testing at Sherpa 6 Spring Lake Facility Today, we conducted a successful testing session at the Sherpa 6 Spring Lake facility, collaborating with NanTenna to evaluate their L-Band MIMO omnidirectional antenna integrated with a Microhard radio on a UXV. The testing also utilized the Kutta Technologies, LLC KTAC controller to operate an SRR sUAS. The results were exceptional. The L-Band MIMO antenna significantly improved video feed quality and delivered a notable increase in RSS (Received Signal Strength), ensuring robust communication throughout the test. The KTAC controller provided precise, ergonomic flight controls, making the system intuitive and highly efficient for the operator. This successful integration highlights the potential of advanced communication and control technologies in enhancing the capabilities of small unmanned aerial systems. A great step forward in innovation and operational effectiveness.

That’s a wrap on our time at the Global SOF Foundation’s Modern Warfare Week! A big thank you to Sarah Casey and ADS, Inc. for the opportunity to join their exhibit. We’re grateful to have such fantastic partners supporting our mission and growth. Featured at the event: our 1- and 2-port L-band antennas displayed alongside our low-profile UHF antenna. The 2-port model was even connected to a Domo Tactical Communications (DTC) radio (thanks Christopher Nigon)! Exciting collaborations like these drive innovation forward. #SmallDesignsBigPerformance

At the end of October, we had the opportunity, thanks to our valued United States Department of Defense customer, to visit the rainy Pacific Northwest for a test drive of our in-progress prototypes and a performance comparison between our fully fielded antennas and current systems. The results? They exceeded even our most optimistic projections! If you're curious about what we tested, how we evaluated, and the results we achieved, feel free to reach out for a detailed write-up—whether short or in-depth! #SmallDesignsBigPerformance

Seeing is believing, as they say! During our late October evaluation week at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, we rigorously compared our antennas against a range of legacy systems. In the photo below, you’ll see the AV2040 with its gain extenders—wouldn’t you expect the directional model to outperform us? Well, if you've been following our progress, you know the answer! It was an incredible week, and industry and government attendees were left speechless by the results we showcased. #SmallDesignsBigPerformance #SATCOM #MUOS #UHF #MILSAT #GEO #Antenna
