Scientists have almost perfected colloidal quantum dots. This means they have nearly perfect efficiency, and for every photon absorbed by the solution, one photon will be re-emitted. This creates a unique, light-harvesting material that can illuminate, create color, harness solar energy, and function as printable semiconductors. To use these state-of-the-art quantum dots in the next-generation of TVs and LEDs, scientists have developed a more reliable method to test efficiency on the quantum scale. CES is almost here and we're excited to show off the latest advancements in Quantum Dot technology for displays including TVs, monitors, and automotive which is a first and a new market for us!
Celebrating Truck Day for #CES at Nanosys always comes with a unique blend of relief and anxiety. Relief because all the demos are dialed in and we’re feeling great about the show. Anxiety because something has been forgotten or will break (a law of CES demo packing). Just a question of what and how easy to MacGuyver a solution with what we have packed! Always fun to figure it out and make it work :) Also, yes, Yamato Transport has the best possible logo for a shipping company.
