Multiple lawsuits are underway to protect charitable nonprofits from blocks to federal funding they have earned, and to challenge attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The National Council of Nonprofits is hosting a free webinar to explain the current legal landscape and to highlight how philanthropic leaders are acting with urgency in supporting nonprofits during this difficult period. Last week our co-founders Rayetta Michael and Stacy Derrick, EMBA had an amazing time at NAMI Maryland’s event, Inside My Head, a musical written and directed by Zak Sandler. Zak’s autobiographical performance explores his personal journey with bipolar disorder. What an amazing way to build awareness and reduce stigma around complex mental health diagnoses. We were so honored to attend and meet Zak in person!
