Good day, I recently had the privilege of attending the U.S. FDA's Clinical Investigator Training course, an incredibly insightful experience that has equipped me with essential knowledge and skills for conducting clinical trials. The course provided a deep dive into the key areas critical for success in clinical research, including: *FDA’s approach to trial design *Statistical issues in the analysis of trial data *Safety concerns in the development of medical products *Understanding preclinical information relevant to medical product development *Clinical investigator responsibilities With decades of industry experience, this course will further strengthen site management and monitoring for clinical investigators, improving oversight across our research sites. This in-depth training will significantly improve my ability to conduct clinical trials in a way that is effective, ethical, and fully aligned with the highest standards. I am eager to apply these insights in my future work with Clinical Investigators and continue contributing to the advancement of medical research. Just attended an exciting webinar on Clinical Pharmacology Considerations for Human Radiolabeled Mass Balance Studies, hosted by the FDA's CDER Small Business and Industry Assistance (SBIA)! ?? The session covered essential guidance on when and how to conduct these studies, how to design and report results, and how the findings can shape drug development and ensure the safe, effective use of medications. ?? Check out my personal experience in relation to this webinar as described above. ?? With over a decade in clinical research, I’m passionate about advancing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. Recently, I monitored a Phase 1 radiolabeled mass balance study using Carbon-14 (14C), a radioactive isotope with a long half-life. This approach is gaining traction in the pharmaceutical industry and offers hope for better treatments. While many still battle neurodegenerative diseases, I remain optimistic about the potential breakthroughs ahead. Good day, Just attended the FDA CBER Guidance Webinar: "Finding Your Support Team While Participating in a Clinical Trial"! ?? It was an eye-opening experience that highlighted the importance of understanding our patient population's needs. We examined the approaches they encounter, particularly related to support, awareness, and engagement. The insights shared provided NaLiRo Clinical Research, LLC with valuable tools to improve community engagement and help participants access the resources they need to build their support teams. It became clear that having a strong support network—comprising caregivers and advocates—plays a vital role in managed care during clinical trials. I left with a deeper understanding of strategies that can improve enrollment and retention, paving the way for more successful clinical trials.
