Empowering Survivors: Freedom from Human Trafficking & Addiction
关于我们
??From Awareness to Action and Impact (2013-Present) ??NAHT's journey began when its founder and executive director, Mary Trapnell, was confronted with the stark reality of human trafficking in her community. Fueled by her awareness and compassion for the victims, she committed herself to fighting this atrocity and aiding those victimized. Mary started by serving victims directly, joining an anti-trafficking organization, and building a support network. This laid the foundation for NAHT to become the impactful organization it is today. ??A Turning Point (2019) In 2019, a generous $50,000 gift propelled NAHT to establish itself as a registered non-profit. This pivotal moment enabled us to build the necessary infrastructure to rescue and restore survivors. ??Building a Sustainable Future (2020) NAHT transitioned from a volunteer-driven to a business model in 2020, ensuring sustainable impact in our mission to rescue and restore women and children affected by trafficking. ??Monumental Growth (2021- Present) The inaugural ALL4NAHT fundraiser in 2021 raised over $500,000, facilitating our move to a permanent headquarters. Renovations completed in 2022 allowed NAHT to offer essential services directly from its headquarters. Governor Bill Lee's $1.2 million state appropriation significantly boosted our efforts, and the second ALL4NAHT event surpassed the first. In 2023, NAHT launched the "Educate to Recognize" program and "The Sweet Daisy Petit Four Shoppe," an enterprise that empowers survivors through training and job opportunities. Sweet Daisy makes delectable and beautiful Petit Fours for all occasions and events. ??Join Us in Ending Trafficking Donate: Support our critical work financially. Volunteer: Share your time and talents. Careers: Make a lasting impact through employment opportunities. Spread Awareness: Support The Sweet Daisy Petit Four Shoppe and attend events to educate others. ??Together, we can eradicate human trafficking in Nashville.

?? Not all danger looks dangerous. Traffickers don’t always start with threats. Instead, they build trust—manipulating, isolating, and controlling their victims under the disguise of care. A friendly text, a caring message—could it be something more? Some warning signs to look out for: ?? “You don’t need your family; I’ll take care of you.” ?? “Just do this one thing for me, and we’re set.” ?? “I know people who can get you a better job, but it needs to stay private.” Would you recognize the red flags? Trust your instincts—if something feels off, it probably is. If you or someone you know needs help, visit NAHT Website or call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. #RecognizeTheSigns #StaySafeOnline #FightForMe #EndHumanTrafficking #AwarenessEqualsAction #HopeInAction #TrustYourInstincts

Courage ignites change. Faith moves mountains. Hope breaks chains. Throughout history, women have risen to fight injustice, oppression, and human trafficking. Their boldness sparked movements, their faith defied darkness, and their relentless pursuit of justice brought freedom to the vulnerable. This Women’s History Month, we honor the women who paved the way—Elisabeth Fry, Catherine Booth, and Amy Carmichael. Fry fought for the dignity of imprisoned women, Booth stood against exploitation and co-founded The Salvation Army, and Carmichael risked everything to rescue children from trafficking in India. Their legacy is a reminder that one act of courage can change lives. Today, we also honor those who continue the fight—advocates, survivors, and warriors who refuse to stay silent. Every voice raised, every act of defiance against exploitation, every moment of unwavering faith—it all matters. One woman’s courage can break chains and spark change. This Women’s History Month let’s rise for justice and freedom. #WomensHistoryMonth #NAHT #HopeInAction #EndHumanTrafficking #FaithInAction #InspireHope #WomenWhoFight #DaughterOfTheKing

Would you recognize online grooming if it happened to you or someone you love? Red flags to watch for: They rush to build trust – Love-bombing, excessive attention, gifts, and secrecy. They isolate you – Making you feel like they’re the only one who understands you. They test boundaries – Asking for personal photos, inappropriate topics, or pushing limits. Human trafficking often begins online. Predators don’t always look like the villain in a movie. They build trust, manipulate, and control. If it feels off, it is off. Protect yourself. Stay aware. Speak up. You are worth protecting. Know the signs & take action: link in bio. #StaySafeOnline #RecognizeRedFlags #HumanTraffickingAwareness #ProtectDignity #BeTheLight
