Join us at the Learning Institute before the APHA Annual Meeting 2024! About the Learning Institute The LI will provide participants with tools for transforming the internal capacity of their respective organizations, including conducting brief needs and readiness assessments, and fostering meaningful power-sharing relationships with communities. Making meaningful progress towards health equity requires not only adapting or changing frameworks, but also developing new skills and adjusting daily practices. Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024 Time: 9:00 am CST- 4:30 pm CST Location: Minneapolis Convention Center; 1301 2nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MH 55403 Cost: $250. If a scholarship is granted, it will be distributed after the Annual Meeting. We encourage attendance from participants within academia; federal, state, and local government; public health agencies; community-based organizations; and any other aspect of public health.
