Even when the first of the month falls on a weekend, I am up early ready to get my billing out. Yes, I have a bookkeeper. But I like to analyze the data from the previous month and ensure my billing is timely and the financial side of my business is buttoned up. For 2025, our business has some very specific KPI's. Tracking progress is critical. My focus is always to client satisfaction, on-time delivery of services, open communication, and growth of revenue for my clients. The first of the month is always a gut check day for me. Happy First of the month! Here's to February! (20 business days).

Belief... When I first started my consulting firm 8 years ago, I made a commitment to myself: I would only work with people and businesses I truly believe in. At the time, it might have seemed like a risky, even limiting rule, especially when trying to get a business off the ground. But I’ve never claimed to be the smartest person in the room, I just know what matters to me. For me, growth is personal. Sure, I help companies increase revenue, but it’s always about the people behind those numbers. When we work together, the bottom line naturally improves, but it’s the people who make that growth possible. A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of meeting with Mike Thomas for our 2025 strategy session. As we mapped out his vision for the year ahead, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the trust and belief we share in one another. I believe in Mike—and he believes in me. Business is often seen as just business, but for me, it’s always been more than that. It’s about working alongside people who share a common goal: to use our gifts to serve others. That’s what makes it not only rewarding but also truly fulfilling. Mike is one of the most genuine and talented individuals I know.
