It's World Behavior Analysis Day and we want to share how our team uses ABA from our own Maureen O'Grady, BCBA. LBA, Associate Director of The Peter Haje Center for Autism. "At NAC, we use Behavior Analysis to help caregivers and staff better understand behaviors of children and adolescents through Caregiver Training and Staff Consultations.? We also use Behavior Analysis in our Social Skills Group to help promote social and play behaviors using an ABA strategy "Natural Environment Teaching". ABA at NAC is always trauma sensitive and used to help guide children towards their individual goals.?" -Maureen O'Grady We're so thankful for Maureen and her amazing team who work tirelessly for our families and advocating for ABA practices in NYS.

New Alternatives for Children is excited to announce that we have been selected for a grant from the TD Charitable Foundation! The grant is for programmatic support of our Comprehensive Healthcare Center for children with special healthcare needs. Thank you TD for being there for NAC’s kids!
