Enhance your skills and ensure safety in amusement rides at the Parks and Carnival Educational (PACE) Seminar, sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Showmen’s Association (PSSA) and the Pennsylvania Amusement Parks and Attractions (PAPA). Thank you to everyone who voted on the proposed NAARSO Constitution changes.?In accordance with Article VII regarding the Amendment of the Constitution and Bylaws, 93% of members in good standing who cast their ballots supported the change, surpassing the two-thirds majority needed for approval.

OSHA's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for?Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings The proposed OSHA rule aims to address heat-related injuries and illnesses in both indoor and outdoor work environments. Here are some key points: ?? Scope: The rule will impact approximately 36 million workers across various industries. ??♀? Requirements: Employers will need to develop and implement heat hazard prevention plans. These plans must include measures such as providing drinking water, rest breaks, and shaded or cool areas for workers. ?? Risk Assessment: Employers will be required to evaluate heat risks and take action when temperatures reach levels that increase the risk of heat-related illnesses. ?? Public Comment: The public has 120 days to comment on the proposed rule, allowing businesses and other stakeholders to provide their input before the final rule is issued. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Federal Government to enhance workplace safety and health standards.
