Thank you to all of our team members who rocked their brightly colored and mismatched socks today for World Down Syndrome Day! March 21 is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have three copies of their 21st chromosome. Socks were chosen because the karyotype of Down syndrome chromosomes looks like mismatched socks. Check out these photos of our team members rocking their socks!

Today is Match Day, the day when medical students across the country learn the results of the National Resident Matching Program? (NRMP?) to see what Graduate Medical Education (GME) program they’ll begin their training at this summer. In addition to welcoming our incoming residents at our Match Day event, we will also celebrate the fellows who have already matched through the Fellowship Match process. Congratulations to our incoming trainees — we can't wait to see the impact you'll make on our patients, Team TidalHealth and the communities we serve across Delmarva! To learn more about TidalHealth's GME programs, visit tidalhealth.org/GME.

Today is the first day of spring! With warmer temperatures, more sun, and plants sprouting everywhere, the arrival of spring can put an extra kick in your step. ?? Spring is the perfect time to make positive changes to improve your health and well-being. Keep these tips in mind: ?? Fill your plate with fresh, in-season fruits and veggies. ?? Get outside, get moving and stay hydrated. ?? Soak up the sun, but make sure to protect your skin and eyes from damaging UV rays. ?? Schedule your annual checkup with your primary care provider any needed appointments with specialists.
