For the 8th straight year,MY Shower Door and our partners, Brown and Brown Insurance, Coconut Point Ford, Merrill Lynch, Entech and D3 Glass, collected and then delivered toys to the Golisano Children’s Hospital in honor of Emma Larson who blessed us for 22 days in 2017. ??’?? ???????? ??????????. My friend Billy Britt III’s company Britt and Tilson Glass Co. Inc. just got absolutely devastated by Hurricane Helene. No, not some pesky flooding and broken windows… Hurricane Helene ravaged North Carolina and decimated their 100-year-old business and Asheville's longest running glass company. All employees and owners are safe, but their lives and homes are torn apart with no immediate rebuilding in sight. Billy is good people, I’ve had the honor of calling him ‘friend’ for years… we’ve swapped hats, hugs, high-fives and heck, I’ve even apologized to his mother for using unbecoming language when quoting Billy on social. They’re a great family and industry institution. Insurance audits and claims will take longer than they can afford to get back on their feet and back in business to provide for their family’s families. I’m asking anyone in the glass & glazing industry to consider contributing to their bounceback. We need legacy companies like B&T to survive. Any amount helps.
