With over 21 years of experience in higher education, Donna currently serves as the Executive Director of Community Relations at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM). Donna’s extensive background in strategic partnerships and leadership development makes her an incredible asset to MANA. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego, underscoring her commitment to educational excellence. The City of San Marcos held a ribbon-cutting?ceremony earlier this month to celebrate the completion of the Creek project, the largest project in our City's history! The event recognized the culmination of decades of planning, hard work, and collaboration that have made this project a reality. Partnership was a big theme throughout this project, and this is especially evident in its funding. To minimize any financial impact on San Marcos residents, the City applied for multiple state and federal grants for project funding. After submitting numerous grant applications, the project received funding from 13 agencies which allowed the City to bring the vision of the project to reality, without a new tax measure or impact to the City’s general fund. We also want to thank San Marcos community members for their patience and collaboration throughout construction. We couldn’t have finished this project without your support!
