"I worked with Action Alarms for nearly 24 years, and when our owner passed away, Preventia Security acquired us in 2021. I’ve been here ever since!" ?? What’s your favorite part of working at Preventia Security? "I love the team mentality. Everyone is friendly and willing to go the extra mile to get things done, which makes the job even more enjoyable." ?? Most rewarding team project? "Growing the Chattanooga team and working with other branches to complete jobs across the board!" ?? Fun facts about Heather: ?? She’s been married for 29 years! ?? She recently became a Grammy to her grandson, Griffin (8 months old!) ? She’s also a second-time mom to her great-niece, Oaklynn (3), and her nephew, Haydin (13). How did you come on board at Preventia Security? "One typical Sunday at church, a Central Monitoring technician was installing a fire alarm system. My dad struck up a conversation about the job and hiring process and said, ‘I think my son would love this.’ The very next day, I went into the office, filled out an application, and the rest is history. Now, 15 years later, I still have the same passion for what I do.” ?? What is your favorite part of working at Preventia Security? “I love meeting new people and building bonds with my customers that last a lifetime.” ?? Fun facts about Derrick: ?? He’s been a pianist for over 20 years! ?? He’s super shy around people he doesn’t know. ???♂? He loves spending his spare time on the golf course. ? We Are Preventia! ? Meet Joseph Lundie , a valued team member at Preventia Security! Joe’s journey with Preventia started in 2015 when his friend, John Duncan, gave him a call about an opportunity. A few minutes later, Brad Slaughter followed up—and the rest is history! ?? What is your favorite part of working at Preventia Security? "I love that my job challenges me to be creative and think outside the box, especially when an install doesn’t have an easy solution. I’ve also had the chance to work in some amazing places and build friendships with people who have grown and succeeded alongside me. When I started, we were a small, tight-knit team that felt like family." ? What has been your all-time favorite team project? "It’s tough to choose just one! Some of my favorites include: Climb Nashville – designing a full gym audio system from scratch. German Motorworks & Limo Service in Franklin – surrounded by exotic and classic cars, which made it hard to focus on work! Meeting Charlie Daniels at his house and crossing paths with other celebrities and sports stars. Nashville new construction projects – rooftop views of the city and Broadway at night made for some unforgettable moments." ?? Fun facts about Joe: ?? He has bowled five sanctioned 300 games and still competes in a weekly league. ?? He’s a huge car guru and owns an ’84 Corvette and a V10 Audi. ?? He’s a proud dad of four amazing kids who keep him busy! Joe brings passion, creativity, and skill to Preventia every day, and we’re lucky to have him on the team!
