?? A Successful Week at MMW: One Month In ?? Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Ambassadors Event at MMW (My Mental Wellbeing), and it was a fantastic experience! We are very happy with the outcome and the opportunity to connect with so many inspiring individuals in the field. Moments like these remind me of the incredible impact we can make together. As I reflect on my first month at MMW, I’ve been learning a lot about strategic funding. I’ve been researching and identifying EU grants and Nordic funding sources, and working on drafting grant applications that align with our mental health initiatives. I’ve also had the chance to maintain our funding database, track applications, and provide strategic recommendations to support our fundraising efforts. It’s been such a pleasure working with Nora Dobos and under the mentorship of Olga Skalska, who have made this learning experience even more rewarding. I’m also excited to be getting onboarded into marketing outbound, where I’ll be helping to extend our sales reach to new customers, further broadening my expertise. MMW (My Mental Wellbeing) is close to hitting the 5-year mark. And what a way to celebrate—by launching Ambassador Program 2.0! ?? This was more than just an event. It was a reconnection. In Q4 2023, we launched Ambassador Program 1.0. Now, in Q1 2025, we’re scaling up with 2.0. Our ambassadors are back, stronger than ever. Ready to shape the future of mental fitness. Some will be our focus group ambassadors. Testing new features before anyone else. Others will be active users. Providing continuous feedback to refine our platform. And because we don’t just talk about mental fitness. We live it. All ambassadors receive free access to MMW for all of 2025. Because building mental fitness habits is as important as breaking the stigma. ??? The feedback? Tonight it was a full house! ?? February this year marked the third anniversary of my association with MMW (My Mental Wellbeing) and I was thrilled to be able to join the Ambassadors Meet Night tonight ?? MMW or My Mental Wellbeing is a for-impact organisation dedicated towards driving mental health conversations at the workplace, and it does so by providing tools and solutions that helps in building habits. Now why build habits? That’s because, taking care of our wellbeing —whether physical or mental, requires conscious efforts that’re consistent and regular, much like learning a language. When I joined MMW, back in 2022 as a Social Media Consultant volunteer, the world was still recovering from the pandemic. The virus was multiplying and different variants were constantly evolving. Everyone was anxious and the “normal”, like we all knew it, was nowhere to be seen. That said, those dystopian times also pushed the mental health and mental wellbeing conversations right into our living rooms. And it was during those days that I came across MMW and the purpose that it stood for nudged me to become a volunteer. As I look back, these last three years have been incredible and I’m so proud to be part of the core team. I have seen the organisation grow, from a non-profit to a for-profit social enterprise, but always steadfast in its commitment — advocating for workplace mental wellbeing ?????
