A significant global water crisis is currently affecting the education of millions of children. Everyone benefits from good sanitation. But girls are among those who benefit the most. Girls often miss out on an education because they have to help with household tasks. An important reason girls drop out of school in developing countries - mainly in Africa and Asia - is due to a lack of sanitation facilities. MyJal partners with the local community, elders of the community, government officials to provide children access to sustainable clean drinking water.
