Indyx is in The New York Times today, and our co-founder, Devon Rule said it best ?? https://lnkd.in/gVdbQuef
Truly, pinch me: Indyx is in The New York Times today! The piece dives into the growing pushback against consumer culture (evidenced by the "low buy" movement) and how Indyx can help folks break the cycle of overbuying by using what they already own. It’s a huge moment for everything we’re building: a platform that puts people at the center, not brands, and helps folks define and refine their personal style without the pressure to constantly shop. We started Indyx because we knew there had to be a better way. Fashion should feel personal, intentional, and joyful; not just an endless cycle of buying and purging. Looking solely to fashion brands to solve this problem is unrealistic because their entrenched business model depends on selling more. More trends, more drops, more reasons to believe you need something new. Why would they ever moderate against their own incentive? But that’s exactly why a platform like Indyx must exist as a tool for us to engage in fashion on our own terms. Seeing this conversation gain traction in such a major publication is incredibly validating, and it wouldn’t be possible without the amazing community that believes in this vision with us. An incredibly huge thank you to Jordyn Holman for telling this story and Aaron Wojack for the beautiful photography that I'll treasure forever. To my incredible co-founder, Yidi Campbell, who only missed this shoot because she was *literally* having a beautiful new baby (!!!). And, to every Indyx team member, stylist, app user, and Insider: YOU are what makes Indyx what it is. We're just getting started ????. https://lnkd.in/g3SFVB-X
