?? UPDATE: Federal Judge Overturns Overtime Rule ?? On November 15, 2024, a Texas federal judge struck down the Department of Labor’s overtime pay rule, halting the planned salary threshold increases from $35,568 to $43,888 (2024) and $58,656 (2025). The threshold now reverts to the previous $35,568. The Department of Labor may appeal, but with a change in administration, the future of the rule is uncertain. ??
