    The fourth-largest broadband ISP in the country, Brightspeed, will be offering its fiber Internet customers a $20 streaming credit via the MyBundle platform this holiday season. The credit will be redeemable through the MyBundle streaming marketplace, and can be applied to new or existing services, the company said.

    Some thoughts for broadband providers (or any subscription service providers) about Brightspeed's announcement that they are thanking every one of their customers with $20 in streaming TV credits. - It is hard to justify budget for and track return on pure gratitude like this. Just as it works with the individual relationships in our lives, we have to believe it works with customer relationships. - There is so much joy in a gift of streaming TV. Think about programs you deny yourself, how you would indulge and what you might discover. (I think about how I weirdly drew the line on my monthly budget at Disney+ and how much more my kids seemed to like me when I gave them more Lin-Manuel Miranda.) - As Dan Ariely, Indra Nooyi and others have taught us, joy, discovery and humanity (streaming TV, free pizza, thank you cards...) drive better results than more quantifiable cash and cash equivalents (months of service, service credits, discounts, Visa cards) and cost less. - MyBundle takes care of everything. Thanks to Catie Deist, Carolyn Boulle McCoy and Brightspeed for being a great provider and partner and for trusting us with such an important campaign.

    Exciting news from MyBundle partner Brightspeed, the nation’s fourth largest fiber broadband builder (they're building a lot of fiber!!!) This morning they announced a new customer appreciation program, offering $20 of streaming credits to their fiber internet subscribers through MyBundle’s Streaming Choice platform - just in time for Black Friday streaming deals. Helping deliver real value to customers in a cost-efficient way is what MyBundle is all about, but it's our broadband partners that are doing the heavy lifting, whether offering choice, excellent service or even bringing high speed internet to those who have never had it before (Brightspeed checks off all 3) In this case, the idea to utilize Streaming Choice to say "thanks for being a customer," no strings attached, came right from the team at Brightspeed, showing how they really are putting their customers first.     Our newest partner, PRTC (Palmetto Rural Telephone Cooperative Inc) clearly understands the meaning of a committed relationship. They organized a cooperative over seventy years ago to meet the need for telephone service in rural Colleton County, South Carolina. Today they are delivering fiber internet. They hired Jason Dandridge over thirty years ago as a staff engineer. Today he is the CEO. They started partnering with MyBundle in just the last couple of months to help their customers simplify streaming TV. We feel quite good about the long term potential here.     Our newest partner, Gibson Connect, might be the living opposite of the typical large telco. They are a local, not-for-profit, member-owned and member-controlled cooperative bringing fiber internet to counties in west Tennessee and west Kentucky. And they are accessible and helpful at every turn, communicating with their customers ceaselessly through a public forum on their website, offering tips on avoiding scams and maintaining a secure wifi network through social media and even hosting live Streaming 101 classes in the community...with a humble assist from MyBundle!     This is a nice example of how a grand mission and major change require a lot of modest contributions along the way, a lot of links in the chain. Our newest partner, SOUTHERN OHIO COMMUNICATION SERVICES, INC (SOCS) and its CEO, gary cooper have an ambition to bring fiber to the hills and valleys of southern Ohio, improving the way people are educated, receive medical treatment, engage with each other and more. They are bridging the digital divide. But a lot of people can't enjoy that step up from cable internet if they can't figure out how to replace their cable TV. That's where MyBundle comes in. We're helping SOCS customers figure out how to get their live programming, sports and local channels from streaming TV so they can save money and get all the rich benefits of fiber internet.
