The fires ravaging Los Angeles have displaced countless individuals, leaving entire communities in urgent need of support. In times like these, the work of organizations like PATH LA is indispensable. Their pet-inclusive sheltering model demonstrates how we can create equitable access to shelter and safety for people and their companion animals. On February 25th, we will be co-hosting an Open House at PATH LA. We would like to invite representatives of human and animal services to join us to learn more about their innovative approach and build connections within a network of providers. You will hear: - Insights from touring a pet-inclusive shelter, - Practical knowledge on co-sheltering policies, and - The voices of residents whose lives have been impacted by PATH’s work.
