My Dad's Chips produces thin-sliced, kettle-cooked, Russet potato chips that contain 22% less salt than our competitors. Cooked in our proprietary oil blend, My Dad's Chips have a robust real potato flavor! My Dad's Chips has been a staple of the Gaithersburg, MD community since 2009, when our founder Gary Edell first made his chips. When his kids went off to college, Gary would send them Tupperware containers filled with potato chips to make them feel at home. When the kids shared the chips with their friends, they always said "WOW these chips are delicious! Where'd you get them?" to which the response was "they're My Dad's Chips" and the business was born.

We had a blast at Sweets & Snacks Expo 2024! This was our first ever trade show, and it did not disappoint. What a fantastic opportunity to showcase My Dad's Chips alongside some of the most prominent brands in the industry. Excited to be working with My Dad's Chips with our East Coast Team. My Dad’s Chips has come a long way from the kitchen of our founder, Gary Edell. Originally just a hobby, Gary used to make homemade potato chips for friends and family whenever they asked. Over time word around the neighborhood spread, and the Chips became famous within his community. When Gary’s kids went off to college, he would send them care packages filled with homemade potato chips. Whenever the kids’ friends would ask “Where did you get these chips?” the response was always, “They’re My Dad’s Chips” and the rest is history. My Dad's Chips can be ordered from RAINFOREST DISTRIBUTION LTD in the Northeast. Come by our booth at Sweets & Snacks Expo to sample and say hello to the team.
