Yet another example of the differences exhibited by girls vs. boys as to how ADHD presents itself. Most girls present without the hyperactivity component, making it more difficult to diagnose. Without the assistance of an observant and connected teacher, this little one might not have gotten to the diagnosis as quickly. As a parent of a girl with ADD, I so appreciated the teachers who were invested in my daughter success—as this mom was.
