OK, this visual really hit a nerve and triggered some emotions for me...So, I am guessing I have some baggage I need to unload! Here goes. I have, on more than one occasion, felt as though my job, career, and even some businesses were visually represented here. When I was younger, I would have blamed supervisors, other leaders, or company guidelines as the mud holding me back from accomplishing my big goals and objectives. I learned that, ensuring my goals and ambitions needed to align with that of the organization's, and those that led, to ensure that this visual wasn't my circumstance. Further along in my career, the metaphorical mud was reflective of members of my team. Some just didn't want to contribute at the same level and were a bit more cautious, slower to jump and run with me, or maybe just a bit more practical and grounded. So frustrating, "just get with the program", please! However, today, after 30 years of watching these circumstances play out, I believe that I get it now. Call it perception, wisdom, or maybe enlightenment... The truth is in every one of those scenarios, I was both the High Performance Vehicle and the Mud! I created my own limitations without realizing it by: 1. Fear of Failure (or Success) - Avoiding taking big risks because you fear failing. Or, a fear of success, worrying about the responsibilities and expectations that come with it. 2. Negative Self-Talk & Limiting Beliefs - Thoughts like “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t have what it takes”. 3. Seeking Perfection Instead of Progress - Instead of taking action, people overanalyze, procrastinate, and never feel “ready” to start. 4. Staying in the Comfort Zone - Growth happens outside of our comfort zone, yet many people prefer familiarity over potential. 5. Comparing Ourselves to Others - Instead of focusing on personal progress, many people measure themselves against others. 6. Waiting for the “Right” Time - There is no perfect time. Delaying action due to circumstances, fear, or overplanning is just an excuse for not starting. 7. Over-Reliance on External Validation - Seeking approval from others before making decisions weakens self-trust and leads to hesitation. 8. Lack of Discipline & Commitment - Many people have big dreams but aren’t consistent in taking the small steps needed daily to achieve them. 9. Focusing on Obstacles Instead of Solutions - People who focus too much on challenges often fail to see opportunities hidden within them. 10. Underestimating Our Own Potential - Most people only tap into a fraction of their capabilities. They settle for less because they don’t recognize how much they are truly capable of. So, how did I come to this realization? I started a Coaching Business, helping business owners recognize their own potential...

Restaurants & cafes – Longtime community staples with strong reputations but no digital presence ?? ?????? ???????? ????????? This crisis is a golden opportunity for smart entrepreneurs, investors, and fractional executives willing to step in, modernize, and scale these businesses instead of letting them die. ?? ?????? ???? ???????? ?????????????????? ???? ?????? ???????????? ??????????????: ? Find undervalued businesses – Look for owners eager to retire with no clear successor ? Digitally transform – Many of these businesses lack an online presence or automation ? Leverage Fractional Executives – Bringing in experienced leadership to optimize operations ? Use creative financing – Many sellers are open to seller financing or SBA loans ? Optimize & grow – Implement new marketing strategies, streamline systems, and expand revenue streams ?? ????????: A well-run small business can generate 6-7 figure profits with the right leadership.
