Miles Benitez, MxV Rail’s Manager of Site Projects, is passionate about coaching youth sports and has been training young athletes since his own three daughters were small. His go-to line to hype up his girls, Marianna, now 22; Maya, 17; and Milani, 11; and their teammates carries into his work ethic. As a part of the Damage Prevention and Loading Services team, Miles oversees the real-world testing that goes into vetting new and existing methods to keep cargo safe in transit. In a controlled test environment, Miles and team crash, measure, and test impacts to come up with new, safer protocols. With more than 17 years as an MxV Rail team member, we’re thrilled to highlight Miles’ amazing work and his dedication to the Pueblo community.
