The MWH-KG Walters team is proud to deliver high-quality work at the Washoe County South Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Facility (STMWRF). Here’s what makes this project stand out: ?? 4,750 CY of high-quality concrete poured—self-performed with rigorous testing to ensure unmatched durability. ?? Total VE savings of $5.4M. $950,000 saved for Washoe County by overcoming the challenge of an 8-ft groundwater table, thanks to strategic dewatering system planning. ?? 48% capacity increase to handle 6.86 million gallons/day, ensuring the region is future-ready through 2040 and beyond. ?? 20,000 cubic yards of material donated to the Nevada Cares Campus, supporting those experiencing homelessness in Reno. A big thank you to CMC Rebar for their excellent rebar installation and KG Walters for bringing decades of regional expertise to this successful collaboration.
