This transformative project will enhance Austin's capacity to treat and discharge wastewater while modernizing processes to meet new regulations. Over 60 attendees—including City representatives, Prime Contractors, and City-certified Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses (MBEs/WBEs)—came together to network and explore upcoming opportunities. Here’s what makes this project stand out: ?? 4,750 CY of high-quality concrete poured—self-performed with rigorous testing to ensure unmatched durability. ?? Total VE savings of $5.4M. $950,000 saved for Washoe County by overcoming the challenge of an 8-ft groundwater table, thanks to strategic dewatering system planning. ?? 48% capacity increase to handle 6.86 million gallons/day, ensuring the region is future-ready through 2040 and beyond. ?? 20,000 cubic yards of material donated to the Nevada Cares Campus, supporting those experiencing homelessness in Reno.
