Earlier this month, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released the 179D Portal, a free resource designed to help commercial building owners and designers estimate potential federal tax deductions for implementing energy-efficient technologies. This tool aims to streamline the process of calculating deductions under the 179D Energy Efficient Commercial Buildings Tax Deduction program.?
