    To quote The Beatles, we've been "here, there, and everywhere" over the past few weeks hosting our Annual Agent Meetings throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Utah. We love connecting with our agency partners, and we were extra grateful for the opportunity to meet in person this year.   • At our core, we exist to help out our neighbors. We're proud to support a variety of events, projects, and organizations that help make our communities great places to live and work. Here are just a few examples: Year-round, we support local students through the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation Weekend Backpack Program, which provides students in need with healthy entrees and snacks to cover meals at home on weekends and holiday breaks. We also love working with our agency partners to volunteer for local causes, such as celebrating Global Volunteer Month by cleaning up the waterfront at Lake Coeur d’Alene last summer with Marsh McLennan Agency. During the winter holidays, we provide and serve a Thanksgiving meal to our local community through RFWF’s Full Bellies Program, sponsor a hot cocoa bar at the Enumclaw Senior Center, and donate annually towards Spokane Firefighters Operation Warm project, which provides winter coats for elementary students in nearby school districts. However, with employees in over 31 states, our outreach doesn’t end in the PNW. All employees are granted 8 hours of Volunteer Time Off each year so they can participate in a volunteer opportunity of their own choosing.   • We might be 127 years old, but we’re not stuck in the past. We know innovation and technology will continue to play a large role in all our futures. However, we don't just talk the talk: our innovations arise organically from striving to create a better experience for our members, agents, and employees. We’ve earned five NAMIC Awards in Innovation, spanning multiple categories, since winning the inaugural award in 2014—more than any other insurance carrier to date. Cited achievements have included building our claims estimate app, MOEstimate, using Snapsheet technology to significantly speed up the estimate process; and launching Nucleus, our cloud native policy administration system, developed fully in-house. We also value our partnerships with organizations who assist us with offering enhanced support and top-notch service, including HiMarley, Ondo, Salesforce, GhostDraft, and Salesloft.     At Mutual of Enumclaw, leadership and professional development go hand in hand. “Leadership isn’t a title," says Sandy Williams, Chief Administrative Officer. "We can all be leaders each day in the things we do. We are assigned titles, but we earn our role as a leader.” All employees are encouraged to explore internal opportunities for collaboration and leadership development, including cross-department committees and interdisciplinary projects. This ties in well with our MOE Mentorship program, which matches up employees with mentors across the company. We also leverage LinkedIn Learning as a key professional development tool. In addition to having access to thousands of videos and courses across the platform, Bruce deJong, our Director of Learning & Development, regularly curates video collections based on specific themes or desired learning outcomes. All part-time and full-time employees are also eligible for more formal educational and training assistance. We provide opportunities and educational awards towards achieving professional insurance designations such as CPCU, AINS, SCLA, and CIC. On the IT and project management side, many employees reach certification in areas such as AWS, Agile Delivery, project management (PMP), and more. #InsuranceCareersMonth #ICM2025

    With employees in over 31 states, we prioritize work flexibility. Most of our employees can work from home, but we also enable employees with in-person roles to work alongside remote and hybrid folks by providing spaces and technology that foster that collaboration. Our virtual affinity group program provides an opportunity for employees to explore and discuss shared professional and personal interests. We also regularly sponsor virtual events like coffee chats, bingo, and trivia to foster fun social connections across the company, regardless of location.
