Welcome to the Muslim Student Association (MSA) at Eastern Illinois University, where diversity is celebrated and interfaith understanding thrives. At the heart of our mission lies the commitment to promoting interfaith understanding. We believe that by coming together, sharing experiences, and engaging in open dialogues, we can break down barriers and build bridges of harmony. Through a variety of events and activities, we aim to showcase the rich tapestry of cultures and beliefs that make up our university community. One of our core activities involves hosting Muslim religious events right on campus. These events provide an opportunity for students to learn more about Islamic traditions, practices, and values. They also serve as a platform for individuals from different faiths to come together, fostering a sense of inclusivity and respect. Our hope is that these events will not only educate but also inspire meaningful connections among our diverse student body. Join us every Friday from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. at our welcoming hub located at 1808 9th St, the Muslim Campus House. Here, we gather to discuss important matters, plan upcoming events, and engage in conversations that contribute to our shared goal of interfaith understanding. Our meetings are open to all, regardless of your background or beliefs. Everyone is encouraged to bring their perspectives and contribute to the enriching discussions.
