This Fall we are celebrating our partnership with Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and the continued growth of their Music Therapy Program. Over the last decade, Music Movement has provided grants totaling over $50,000 in support of this program. We invite you to enjoy a recent video of Sara, a patient at CHOC and program participant. It is not uncommon for children battling life threatening illnesses to be confined to their rooms during treatment. Our grants help to fund the equipment and instruments needed for CHOC's music therapists to work bedside with patients. When patients develop an aptitude for a specific instrument, Music Movement offers an instrument donation to support the continuation of the child’s creative journey following their hospital stay. On October 10th this year, Music Movement will host its 13th Annual Charity Golf Reception at the Links at Monarch Beach Golf Resort, and will present a $5,000 grant to continue our support of CHOC's life-changing work.
