Now on view here at #musiccenterla in partnership with Vincent Price Art Museum: "Del Alma" ???? A powerful exhibition that demonstrates the complexity and vibrancy of Latina artists’ contributions to the County of Los Angeles while placing these women in dialogue with the historic space inside the Founder's Room of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. About the exhibit: "Del Alma: Latina Portraits from the Vincent Price Art Museum" presents an intergenerational group of portraits by Los Angeles-based Latina artists like Yolanda González, Patssi Valdez and more! Through diverse forms of creative expression, the artists carefully render their subject’s strength and likeness while referencing broader themes of Latine culture, pop aesthetics, genre painting and interpersonal relationships. "Del Alma" is on view through June 30, 2025. To learn more and see the tour schedule, please visit: https://bit.ly/4hVNn4W

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the firefighters and first responders who continue to fight to protect our Los Angeles communities! ???? Your unending dedication, tireless hard work and steadfast bravery have inspired us all and brought us hope during the darkest of days. We know there is still quite a ways to go, and we could not begin to rebuild without the foundation of hope and humanity you have laid for us. From all of us in Los Angeles, thank you!
