Developed by the same research-driven and student-focused team that brought you Engineering is Elementary (EiE), YES is the next generation of engineering education and is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. During this workshop, participants will: learn how to access the now free YES and EiE resources; engage in an elementary engineering unit that integrates into science content; and explore the free teacher and student resources YES and EiE have to offer. This full-day, learner-driven workshop introduces participants to the concepts of engineering and prepares them to facilitate high-quality engineering with students.
