Muran Method

The Muran Method is an outpatient detox procedure consisting of an initial consultation followed by an in office a 3-day detox. The Method does not use any pharmaceutical medications to suppress mental clarity and the Patient has no withdrawal symptoms. The laboratory values and the disposition of the patient confirm the non-detectable levels of the substance abused. Dr. Muran uses a mix of IV therapy, supplementation and specialized laboratory testing to find and treat the root biological causes of the patients' addiction. The Muran Method is particularly exciting for the psychology community because the patient has mental clarity and the capacity to make significant progress in therapy right away. This is noteworthy when compared to traditional detox in which the patient is often left in a ‘brain fog’ for weeks or months. The Muran Method utilizes a Bio-Psycho-Social holistic model. This model readily incorporates the patient’s current psychologist, nutritionists, and social experts into the patient’s treatment. Currently, we are seeking psychologist, nutritionists, and social experts to interact within this Bio-Psycho-Sociological holistic model.
