As Women’s History Month continues, we’re proud to highlight Munger, Tolles & Olson co-managing partner Hailyn Chen, who exemplifies leadership and dedication to gender equity in the legal profession. ? "Women’s History Month honors incredible women and nonbinary figures who fought for our rights and paved the way for future generations,” said Hailyn. “It also reminds us of the need for continued representation in the legal field, including providing opportunities for women and nonbinary attorneys to thrive in their careers and contribute meaningfully to society. As an Asian American woman, this month highlights the importance of recognizing the unique struggles and triumphs experienced by women in our community, and it serves as a call to action to continue advocating for diversity and inclusion in all spaces." ? #MTO #WomensHistoryMonth #womeninlaw #womenattorneys #nonbinaryattorneys #inclusion #empowerment #leadership

Munger, Tolles and Olson is excited to honor the distinguished career of retired partner Martin D. Bern. During his 31-year tenure at the firm, Martin’s practice focused on complex commercial and class action litigation, including labor and employment, construction defects, contracts and unfair competition. He also provided invaluable pro bono support to environmental organizations. Martin earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating from the Order of the Coif and receiving the J. Edgar Hoover Prize. His early career included clerkships with Judge Charles A. Legge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and then-Chief Judge J. Clifford Wallace of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. As Martin embarks on his new chapter of life, we extend our deepest gratitude for his years of dedication and service. We wish him a fulfilling retirement and look forward to seeing the new paths he will explore.? #MTO #MTOAlumni
