A note from Ellie Parkison: Today is bittersweet, as it is my last day at Nonprofit Support Network. Starting Monday, January 6, I will be moving full-time to work at Muncie BY5 as their Strategic Initiatives Coordinator. I am excited to return to my early childhood roots and immerse myself further in the nonprofit sector, but sad to leave the impactful work Nonprofit Support Network is doing. I started at Nonprofit Support Network in May 2023 as a college student who needed internship credits to graduate, but my time at the organization turned into so much more. What I thought would just be a two-month internship developed into a job that grew me professionally and personally, as I learned to ask questions, gained confidence in countless skills, and witnessed the passion and wisdom of many individuals who make up our nonprofit community. Thank you to everyone that welcomed and encouraged me in my different roles. I am especially grateful to Carly Acree-King, MPA, CFRM, NFPC for her mentorship and steadfast belief in me, as well as Jena Ashby for her support and leadership during this transition. With her at the helm, Nonprofit Support Network is in the best of hands and I can’t wait to see what is ahead for the organization for years to come.?
