We've all had to deal with the same thing. Your phone rings 24/7 and shows no sign of stopping, but if you ever should pick up, all you hear is the incessant jabbering of a telemarketer or nothing at all. Is there some way of finding out who is on the other end? Do you pick up or let it ring? Who is calling? Sound familiar? There are thousands of people asking the same question every day. We offer a service where we will change your inbound CallerID name to reflect who is calling and whether this is a legitimate call or not https://lnkd.in/evt4yG7G

Thank you for calling "XYZ". *** Please listen carefully as our menu options have changed. *** No they have not. You are using the same IVR with the exact same options since 1994. What's the point of doing this? You will only annoy your callers. If you're looking to replace your PBX, get in touch with us. https://multitel.net/pbx

As a history buff, whenever I read something, dates/timestamps stand out. One thing that sucked at timestamps was the "history" command in Linux. Are you trying to figure out when you last cleaned up a log folder? Trying to figure out when was the last time you updated your repositories? "history" won't show you that. Here's my take on it (save it to a file, chmod +x it and run it on all your servers) #!/bin/bash mkdir -p /var/log/history echo "export HISTTIMEFORMAT='%d/%m/%y %T '" >> /etc/profile echo "CUSTOM_HISTORY_FILE=/var/log/history/hfile_\$(date +%F_%T)" >> /etc/profile echo "PROMPT_COMMAND='echo \"\$(/bin/rhost)?\$(history |tail -1)\" >> \$CUSTOM_HISTORY_FILE '" >> /etc/profile echo "#!/bin/bash" > /bin/rhost echo "who am i |awk '{print \$1 \" - \" \$NF}'|sed -e 's/)//' -e 's/(//'" >> /bin/rhost chmod +x /bin/rhost Output? ?292?25/03/24 22:02:30 df -h ?293?25/03/24 22:02:37 cat /etc/freeswitch/autoload_configs/xml_curl.conf.xml ?294?25/03/24 22:02:43 cat /etc/freeswitch/autoload_configs/xml_cdr.conf.xml ?295?07/04/24 13:27:05 iptables -L -n Yes, I do agree, you should change the date format to match your preferred format.
