?????????????????? ?? ???????????????? ???????? ?????????? ?????????? ?????????? ?????????????? ?????? ???????????????? ???? ???????????????????????????? ???? ???????????? ?? ?????????????? ???? ????????: ?????? ?????????????? ?????????????????????? ?????? ?????????????????? ?????????? This is the reality in Germany, where a record number of club memberships in 2023 is met by struggling sport clubs. There's been a noticeable decline in the number of clubs themselves – from 91,000 in 2016 to around 86,000 today. In addition to finances, the reasons are dwindling volunteer work and old-fashioned structures. This is where we want to provide relief with DigiRoot. At the European level, there are more than 120 million in over 750,000 sports clubs. These play a vital role in our communities – as hubs for youth, families, and the elderly, creating social cohesion, playing a key role in education as well as in teaching life lessons and promoting health. Embracing Digitalization: A tool for solving various challenges Many clubs are held back by constraints like time, lack of IT knowledge, volunteer dependency, or traditional management. Digitalization can help with some challenges such as relieving the burden on offices, getting more people into sports clubs, finding volunteers, and helping volunteers by automation or facilitating access through the cloud. Most clubs lack money for IT consulting, instructions for the introduction of new software, and basics on topics such as change management. ?? ?????????????????????????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????????????????? In a collaborative effort with leading organizations, universities, and experts, we've secured a substantial grant from the European Commission. Our goal? To empower sports clubs across Europe to harness the power of digitalization. Introducing the Erasmus+ Project ????????????????: An initiative to develop a platform that guides clubs through their digital transformation journey. Led by TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen and European Multisport Club Association, and supported by partners like GSIC powered by Microsoft, University of Cyprus, Olympiacos SFP, Hask, and Sport association "LEVSKI - Sport for all", this project is intended to provide simple knowledge and concrete implementation aids. Associated partners like Freiburger Kreis and IIISSS, as well as esteemed experts such as Philipp Klotz, Lutz Thieme, Dr. Jan Dreisbach, and many more, are joining us with their invaluable insights. A thank you goes to the people who have already made a big contribution with Philipp Ostsieker, Harald Dietrich, and Andreas Schr?der! ?????? ?????????????? ???????????? Last month, we were kicking off the project in Brussels. As a first step, an initial website is ready, as well as the opportunity to register your interest. In the comments, you can check out our website and sign up if you are interested in joining the project as sport club, organization, expert, or person interested in the topic!
