MDFT International, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity dedicated to improving the lives of youth and their families by providing training and consultation services to help clinical providers implement Multidimensional Family Therapy? (MDFT?). MDFT is a comprehensive, flexible family-based intervention for adolescent substance abuse, delinquency, and related behavioral and emotional problems. MDFT directly addresses problems in adolescent, parent and family functioning while enhancing the factors that change behaviors, heal relationships, and support positive development. There are currently over 100 MDFT programs in the United States, Canada and Western Europe, and we provide services to therapists, public and private organizations, communities, states/provinces, and nations. The intervention has been implemented successfully in a wide range of clinical settings, within different types of programs, and with diverse youth and families.
