Our Head of Product Management, Adrian Mayr, will be presenting the unique all-in-one solution for digital saddle stitching at the HID booth of Müller Martini in Lucerne. From a printed roll, several jobs – from short runs to individualized single products – with different content and variable thicknesses are produced without interruption and with high efficiency. We will be demonstrating our unique workflow expertise (keyword: Connex!) – true to our maxim “PDF in – Magazine out”. The line consists of ? Hunkeler UW8 unwinder, ? Hunkeler CS8 cross cutter, ? Heidelberg buckle folder, ? Prinova Digital saddle stitcher ? and a Perfetto PRO compensating stacker. The rolls will be printed live at Canon's booth in the hall next door. Our Connex LineControl PRO workflow system, which can communicate with Canon's PRISMAproduction workflow system and thus with the press, will manage the job. It will create job tickets and printable PDFs and will also be responsible for impositioning. Using Connex Info Cloud, our booth visitors can follow and track the production data live on screen.
