The Mueller KLS-1C is a high-performance vertical separator that exceeds the performance of traditional horizontal filter separators and cyclonic separators. Also, there are no filter elements to replace, therefore no replacement doors to enter making the vertical arrangement just as practical for access while giving more options for placement. The KLS-1C is designed to provide maximum protection for gas machinery and processing equipment no matter the application. The KLS-1C vertical separator for pipeline quality gas is our most compact design making it ideal for metering skids and removal of carryover from amine and glycol contactor towers. The absence of a bulk removal section eliminates the need for a second dump valve and controls. VALVE OPERATOR VENT SEPARATOR MUELLER MODEL OVS The Mueller Model OVS Valve Operator Vent Separator acts as a "source control" for entrained hydraulic and lubricating fluids venting to the atmosphere from the exhaust gas port of Shafer, EIM and similar valve operators. The OVS will remove 99% of all entrained liquid particles 10 microns and larger from the venting gas.? Gas vapor and entrained fluids enter the OVS through the inlet nozzle, contacting the separating element. The separating element surfaces act as an agglomerator, setting up centrifugal forces and throwing liquid particles to the shell wall in a sheeting action. The coalesced liquid particles then drain into a holding area for collection to a central sump, and a vortex breaker prevents re-entrainment of the liquid as the gas exits. The unit is designed for vertical up or down discharge. The OVS has been field proven in thousands of installations under a wide range of conditions, and like all Mueller equipment, is designed for low-maintenance and built to last. ?? OPTIONS ? LUBE OIL SUMP VENT COALESCER-MUELLER MODEL SVC The Mueller Model SVC is a static mechanical separation and collection system that removes 99.5% of the particles 3 microns and larger from the oil reservoir vent, allowing for?collection and return of oil to waste oil storage and eliminating the oil film discharge that is typically a byproduct of both gas turbine and reciprocating engine prime movers. Medium and low-speed, large horsepower, 2 & 4 cycle reciprocating engines require extensive amounts of mineral and synthetic oils for lubrication, sealing and cooling of?bearing surfaces. Engines of this type utilize a recirculating lubrication system for the return and storage of oil. During system operation lubricant is subjected to high-temperature and mechanical forces on bearing surfaces, creating a mist within the oil storage reservoir made up of large droplets (generated by mechanical) and submicron droplets?(generated by condensing oil vaporized on hot bearing surfaces). The oil storage reservoir is vented to atmosphere resulting in oil vapor loss, which coats the surrounding area with an unsightly and hazardous oil film. The versatile SVC eliminates this problem, easily connecting to the oil reservoir vent through a variety of configurations.
