Providing service to all of Michigan as an official testing partner to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Michigan’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME). https://www.michiganbusiness.org/mobility-funding/ The Michigan Unmanned Aerial Systems Consortium (MUASC) is a 501(c)(3) and the State's only organization which has performed UAS flight test activities under FAA Test Site authority through a partnership with NUAIR. We help accelerate the development, deployment and adoption of technologies that support UAS and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). MUASC has been a partner to the NUAIR Alliance, which was established to manage operations at the FAA UAS Test Site test at Griffiss International Airport, New York from 2012-2023. NYUASTS is one of 7 FAA designated test sites in the U.S.A. NUAIR led the first FAA approved 50 mile UAS BVLOS corridor in the U.S. and continues today with 240 miles of BVLOS approval and more. NUAIR welcomes organizations to visit the Center of Excellence at Syracuse Airport in NY. We are proud of the coalition of private and public entities working across state lines in support of the industry. Let us help you build a team, find funding and fly in Michigan, New York or beyond. Calling ALL women in the Advanced Aviation Industry: We are thrilled to announce a new program that we are launching in January: ElevateHER: Women in Advanced Aviation Leadership Program ? A year ago, we put together the Women’s Leadership Development Taskforce to build a program to empower women leaders across the advanced aviation industry through targeted education, mentorship and networking opportunities. And now we’re ready to bring the program to the women in our industry. By developing and implementing initiatives that support women’s professional growth and leadership development, ElevateHER will help identify barriers to women’s advancement within the advanced aviation industry and create strategies to address them. The Washington Post The exercise was part of a competition hosted in October by DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, at a military training facility some 100 miles south of Atlanta. To-scale replicas of a bombed-out building, a flooded neighborhood that resembles New Orleans’s 9th Ward immediately after Hurricane Katrina and D.C.’s Foggy Bottom Metro station are scattered across the 830-acre campus where firefighters and Navy SEALs come to practice scenarios they might face in their jobs. Air Force veteran Bruce Mundie has always wanted his own warbird. He's also wanted to build his own airplane. His solution? Build a warbird, of course. Over the course of seven years, Bruce built a replica Nieuport 28 and painted it in the colors of the 95th Aero Squadron, a unit with a direct connection to Bruce's own military service. #EAA #aircraft #aviation #warbirds #homebuiltaircraft #OSH24
