The MTSI Dayton office hosted the BONDS FIRST Robotics Team, a group of talented students dedicated to innovation and engineering excellence. As part of MTSI’s social responsibility to support STEM initiatives, we provide funding to participate in competitions and ensure that STEM opportunities are accessible to all—eliminating financial barriers for students who want to participate. During their visit, the BONDS team shared insights into their robotics projects, competition experiences, and the technical challenges they tackle. Their passion for problem-solving and teamwork was truly inspiring, and it was great to see firsthand how MTSI’s support empowers the next generation of engineers and leaders. #esop #employeeowned #dayton #stem #robotics

What makes data fabric an effective approach for defense contractors? In her conversation with Kaycee Lai, Joyce L. Myers, CDO of Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) explains the concept as a bunch of threads woven together to create beautiful solutions. She emphasizes human-centered design principles, focusing on creating delightful user experiences whether for data engineers, financial officers, or anyone needing to answer questions. Her "builder" approach becomes clear as she describes working with existing infrastructure: "I'm not burning anything down. I'm just looking at the house we already have." This practical perspective shows how organizations can enhance data accessibility without disrupting existing systems — crucial in complex environments. Check out the full episode of The Data Fabric Show to learn more about MTSI's implementation approach. William Bryant's article, "Using M&S to Determine Cyber Survivability: Score Small and Let the Machines Do the Math", premieres in the Aircraft Survivability Journal Spring 25 issue. https://loom.ly/ypi-O1I "The FY22 NDAA’s mandate to conduct full-spectrum survivability testing of U.S. air systems across all applicable threat domains—and within current resource constraints—necessitates the use of modeling and simulation (M&S) as a “universal integrator” between these domains." The Joint Aircraft Survivability Program keeps the #survivability community and others in touch and informed of pertinent technical, personnel, and organizational survivability information. #esop #employeeowned #aircraft #govcon #defense
