We are excited to welcome Alyona McCready, PT, DPT, to our Bellevue team (or should we say welcome her back, as she did her clinical rotation with us two years ago.) Here’s what Alyona shared: “I have been a practicing physical therapist since 2023 and have recently moved to the Seattle area from Texas! At my prior clinic, I primarily treated orthopedic conditions with a similar 1:1 practice model to MTI’s. I started practicing at MTI’s Bellevue clinic in May, making my return as a practicing Physical Therapist after completing a clinical rotation at the same clinic exactly two years prior. MTI stood out to me because of its exceptional clinicians, their 1:1 patient centered treatment model, and the ample opportunities for skill development. My personal philosophy for treatment centers around a strong foundation of patient education and empowerment so that patients can advocate for themselves. I believe that it’s important that as clinicians, we understand how a patient's condition affects all spheres of their life, so that we can offer compassionate care. It is a privilege to be able to practice within an atmosphere where 1:1 time with patients is prioritized and valued as this allows us to perform a thorough assessment and create a plan of care which is fine tuned to the patient's needs. Mentorship is another facet which is important to my treatment philosophy as I believe that we never cease to learn and should strive to practice the most effective, evidence-based interventions. As an Ukrainian immigrant, I am also fluent in Ukrainian and Russian and hope to be able to serve my community through education and access to care. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my nephews, exploring in nature, reading, and drawing. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join MTI and help my future patients through their healing journey.” To learn more about Alyona and request an appointment with her, visit our website: https://lnkd.in/gn-SxJ4D #mtipt #TherapistSpotlight #physicaltherapist

Introducing Colin Moran, PT, DPT, ATC, who joined our Magnolia team in April. Here’s what Colin shared: “I became a physical therapist in May of 2023, but have been working in various aspects of healthcare, including being a Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN) and then an Athletic Trainer (ATC), since 2016. I was drawn to MTI because of it’s culture of excellence and reputation of helping to elevate clinicians who are seeking to improve their skills in sports, orthopedics, and manual therapy. This past April, I joined the MTI family in Magnolia and have enjoyed treating all kinds of athletes, including weekend warriors, high school and college students, or professionals. I believe that all individuals can benefit from physical therapy whether injured or trying to improve their performance. I am also looking forward to starting MTI’s Sports Residency program in February of 2025. Through the program, I hope to continue to learn and grow with the great clinicians surrounding me and place my patients’ needs at the forefront of care. In my free time, I try to find ways to get outdoors and enjoy traveling the world. My goal in life is to get to all the National Parks in the United States and if I get that done, continue in other countries as well.” To learn more about Colin and request an appointment with him, visit our website: https://lnkd.in/gEjXinH4 #mtipt #TherapistSpotlight #physicaltherapist
