To: MTG Clients From: MTG Florida (Annalise Hayes DeLuca) Date: November 25, 2024 Re: Changes to Florida Rules of Civil Procedure Summary: Reminding everyone with a Florida portfolio of the overhaul to the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure set to take effect January 1, 2025. In keeping with the Florida Supreme Court’s goal to enhance the civil case management processes already in place and to overall improve resolution of civil cases, the Court amended Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.200, 1.201, 1.280, 1.440, 1.460, and 1.510, and created Rule 1.202. ... As these rule changes are yet to take effect, it remains to be seen how each judge or court will prefer them to be handled. However, it is important to consider these changes now and how they will impact cases filed after January 1st. We are here to help walk our clients through these changes and assist with any needs that may arise surrounding the timely and efficient handling of civil actions in Florida. If you have any questions about this post or any other related matters, please feel free to reach out to Annalise Hayes DeLuca ([email protected]).

???? This holiday season, MTG is honored to collaborate with Soldiers' Angels for the Adopt-a-Family Holiday Support program. Soldiers' Angels is committed to easing the burdens faced by Military and Veteran families, ensuring that every child enjoys a festive celebration. By participating in the @Soldiers’ Angels Adopt-A-Family program, MTG is showing our deep appreciation to our Service Members and Veterans. The #AdoptAFamilySA initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to express their gratitude and support for Military families who need a little extra help during the holidays. It’s not too late to make a difference! Visit https://lnkd.in/g6q_feAb to find out how you can contribute. ?? How It Works: ?? ?? Military and Veteran families are invited to register with Soldiers’ Angels, submitting the required documentation to verify their service and financial needs. Although priority is given based on financial need, the program is designed to support all families. Once approved, families are listed for adoption by individuals, organizations, and companies. Adopters can then review the family’s wish list on our database and reach out directly to the family to organize the shipping or delivery of gifts. Join us in spreading joy and appreciation this holiday season!
