CUSTOMER FOCUSED Celebrating over 70 years of stabilization did not happen by accident. It comes from taking care of our employees and customers. Each and every year we will work on over 500 unique projects throughout the country. We strive to treat every project the same when it comes to the customer experience. From first point of contact with our company, until we are loading equipment up to leave the site, the safety of our employees and the satisfaction of our customers are our only priorities. HISTORY Mt. Carmel Sand and Gravel was founded in 1918 along the Wabash River near Mt. Carmel, IL. In 1949 we began doing Full Depth Reclamation on county roads, primarily in Southern Illinois. In the early 1970’s the company began expanding into lime and cement stabilization on various project types from coast to coast. By the mid 1990’s, soil stabilization became the mainstay of the company. EXPERIENCE Today at Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group, Soil Stabilization is All We Do. Operating over 20 crews across the country and with more than 300 pieces of specialized equipment, we pride ourselves with the experience and knowledge that it takes to tackle any project large or small. A Unique Challenge Our Engineering team partnered with Clay County, Illinois road commissioners to tackle a six mile stretch of Hickory Hill Lane that was posing a challenge for them. This project perfectly shows that full-depth reclamation isn't a one size fits all approach for our team. Dane Redinger explains how we were able to create a custom solution that Clay County officials could participate in developing and feel good about upon completion. #soilstabilization #fulldepthreclamation #FDR #asphaltrecycling
