First: It's going to be so much easier now to explain to friends and family what I've been doing for the past three years. Today Michigan State University Office of the President Kevin Guskiewicz announced a new vision to build something new and intentional to challenge silos and work even better together for those in Michigan and beyond. It's not new for our team to be communicators and connectors, and now we're encouraged by a bold vision, informed by brilliant researchers, faculty, staff and alumni. As a communications leader, an MSU alum and a proud member of this community, I'm excited and ready to keep Spartans informed during this time of reinvention and create a safe space to dream big. #SpartansWill

Winter in Michigan can be beautiful, but icy conditions and cold temperatures bring unique challenges. Stay safe this season with these tips: - Watch Your Step: Ice can be sneaky! Walk slowly, wear sturdy shoes with good traction, and use handrails when available. - Warm Up Before Shoveling: Stretch to avoid injuries and remember to take breaks to prevent overexertion. - Layer Up: Dress in warm layers, including gloves, hats, and scarves, to protect against frostbite. Don’t forget waterproof outerwear. - Drive Safely: Keep an emergency kit in your car and drive carefully on snowy or icy roads. Give yourself extra time to stop. - Stay Hydrated: Even in cold weather, your body needs water. Drink up to stay energized and healthy. #healthcare
