关于我们
The Finance, Economics and Risk Management (FERM) Department is the largest department in the College of Business at Missouri State University. The greatest asset of the FERM Department is our culture. We are pragmatic and dedicated to student success by providing high return on investment for students. The FERM department houses programs in Finance, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance, and General Business. Our FINANCE major has three options: 1) Corporate & Investments, 2) Financial Planning, and 3) FinTech. Regardless of the track chosen, our finance majors place tend to place very well upon graduation. Our ECONOMICS program is new to the College of Business, and is STEM certified. Expect some exciting changes to this program in the coming years. Our RISK MANAGEMENT AND INSURANCE (RMI) major has two options: 1) Enterprise Risk Management and 2) Insurance). The RMI program is one of the largest in the Midwest, and is heavily supported by industry via financial support for scholarships. Our RMI majors are heavily recruited by the Risk and Insurance industry, with many students receiving multiple job offer prior to graduation. Our GENERAL BUSINESS major is among the most flexible in the college, and is a great place for business students who are "undecided" to start their journey in the College of Business.
