Spotlight on Dr. Anthony Cognato! Dr. Anthony Cognato, Professor at MSU, focuses on the taxonomy and identification of bark and ambrosia beetles, many of which are invasive species impacting forests and agriculture. As Director of the A.J. Cook Arthropod Research Collection, which houses nearly 1.5 million specimens, he plays a vital role in advancing research, education, and outreach related to invasive species management.
